The Alhambra, perched above Granada, is a masterpiece of Moorish architecture.
It was originally a fortress that was transformed into a royal palace in the 13th century by the Nasrid dynasty. With detailed stucco designs and serene courtyards dominated by the sound of water from streams and reflecting pools, every corner proves Islamic artistry.
Don’t miss the Nasrid palaces with its Court of the Lions, famous for its stunning fountain supported by 12 intricately carved marble lions.
Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Alhambra remains one of Spain’s most visited landmarks — and a testament to the Moorish influence on Spanish culture.

We visited and thoroughly enjoyed the landscape, architecture & history. Definite must see.
