⚡Campi Flegrei and Stromboli: Italy’s Fiery Volcanoes ⚡
Active volcanoes shaping Italy’s landscape
Italy is home to some of the most fascinating volcanoes, including the Campi Flegrei and Stromboli.
Campi Flegrei, located near Naples, is a massive volcanic caldera, known for its bubbling hot springs and fumaroles. While it appears calm, it’s still considered highly active and carefully monitored. It is actually a supervolcano!
Meanwhile, Stromboli, one of the most active volcanoes in the world, has been erupting almost continuously for over 2,000 years! Nicknamed the “Lighthouse of the Mediterranean,” Stromboli offers visitors a spectacular light show, with frequent, although small eruptions lighting up the night sky.
Italy’s volcanic wonders offer an unforgettable look into the raw power of nature… 🌋🔥
And one last thing - this publication will stay free forever, but if you feel I deserve a cup of matcha 🍵 here and there, then please buy me some - the next drink’s on me! ☕
