Joaquín Sorolla, often called the “master of light,” captured the beauty of Spain in his impressionist works.
From fishing villages to vibrant landscapes, his paintings radiate sunlight and movement. One of his most famous works, Sewing the Sail, depicts fishermen’s wives in Valencia, bathed in golden light. Sorolla’s love of the sea and Spanish culture shines through in every brushstroke, making his work timelessly captivating.
