No Spanish Christmas is complete without turrón, a traditional almond-based nougat that dates back to Moorish times. Made with honey, sugar, and egg whites, this sweet treat comes in two popular styles: turrón duro (hard and crunchy) and turrón blando (soft and chewy).
Though enjoyed year-round, turrón is a holiday staple found in markets and homes across Spain.

And one last thing - this publication will stay free forever, but if you feel I deserve a cup of matcha 🍵 here and there, then please buy me some - the next drink’s on me! ☕
I think I’d try the hard and crunchy version. It looks quite yummy.
