What do Robin Williams and Malta have in common? Popeye Village!
This colorful seaside attraction was originally built as a film set for the 1980 musical Popeye, starring Robin Williams as the spinach-loving sailor.
After filming ended, the brightly colored wooden houses were left as it were, and the set was transformed into a family-friendly attraction.
Today, you can explore the village, enjoy boat rides, or enjoy the beautiful views of Anchor Bay.
