Snuggled in the Irish Sea, the Isle of Man is a self-governing British Crown Dependency, known for its unique blend of Celtic and Viking heritage.
The island is not part of the United Kingdom but has its own parliament called Tynwald, which dates back over 800 years and is considered one of the oldest continuous parliaments in the world.
The Isle of Man is famous for its Manx Gaelic language and traditions, and the Manx cat, a breed with short or no tails. Also, each year thousands of fans visit the Isle of Man for the TT Races, one of the world’s most thrilling motorcycle races.
With its stunning landscapes, medieval castles, and intriguing folklore, the Isle of Man is a hidden gem rich in culture and history.
And just to draw your attention to this - the Manx flag is very similar to the flag of Sicily.
