It’s funny how you can actually see the progress on the outside based on the coloration of the surfaces. I love that there is something being built in our lifetime that requires this much time to complete, feels more like what people experienced hundreds of years ago. Refreshing compared to the more boring, modern structures put up as quickly as possible now.
Such an amazing place. So much detail on the outside and I love the stained glass on the inside. We want to go back when it’s complete.

I just realized I visited Sagrada last year after 25 years, and it seemed like nothing has changed on the outside :)
We were there in 2018. We stayed in an airbnb just around the corner so we walked by the cathedral every day.
